Razor wire and concertina barrier, mill-direct to Ukraine
A buyer needed reinforced razor wire and concertina coils for perimeter security, but online quotes were all from traders. We reached the actual producer, verified the core-wire spec and galvanizing, checked the load, and shipped by the container to Ukraine.

The challenge
The client needed reinforced razor wire — concertina coils for perimeter and border security — and kept getting quotes from trading companies. From abroad there was no reliable way to tell a genuine wire producer from a reseller, or to confirm that what shipped would actually match the spec.
Razor wire lives or dies on the details buyers can't see in a photo: the diameter of the steel core wire, the coating (hot-dip galvanized vs PVC), the blade pitch, and the coil diameter. A large first order paid against nothing but a trader's word was the real risk.

What we did
- 1
Reached the real producer
We searched Chinese-language channels and our own network to get past the traders and reach a factory that actually draws and presses razor wire — not an office re-selling it.
- 2
Locked the spec
We pinned down the named specs that matter — core-wire gauge, hot-dip galvanized vs PVC coating, blade pitch and coil diameter — so the quote described exactly one product, not a vague 'razor wire'.
- 3
Negotiated producer-direct
We quoted and negotiated in Mandarin at the factory, so the price reflected the producer's rate for both the galvanized and PVC-coated variants, without a middleman's markup.
- 4
Inspected before balance
Coils were weighed and checked against the agreed spec and count, and the container load was confirmed before the balance was released.

The result
The client bought reinforced razor wire and concertina coils straight from the producer, at a direct price, with the core wire and coating verified against the agreed spec. The load was checked before the balance left their account and shipped by the container to Ukraine.
What began as a scatter of interchangeable trader quotes became a documented, spec-locked supply line the client can reorder against with confidence.
We were drowning in trader quotes for razor wire and none of them would pin down the spec. Silk Way took us to the actual producer, nailed down the wire gauge and coating, and checked the load before we paid the balance.
